Quick tips – Micro SIM cards
If you have a large sim e.g. for an older iPhone 3 and upgrade to a new phone which requires a ‘micro sim’ you don’t need to actually purchase another sim.
Some companies such as TPG mobile want to charge you $20 + delivery for a replacement sim. Instead just find your local phone repair shop and ask them if the have an accurate cutter. If so they will usually do it for $5 or sometimes for nothing. It literally takes 2 seconds.
